About Pauline

Pauline Ineson is a multi-award winning designer, teacher and author who is passionate about the techniques you can use on your sewing machine. She has taught hundreds of ladies how to get the best from their sewing machines to create beautiful quilts and many other projects. Her students range from beginners to the more experienced sewers

Pauline comes from a dress making background andt has always enjoyed creating her own ideas. When she discovered the decorative stitching that you could do on a machine there was no stopping her. It was then she discovered other techniques such as circular sewing, pintucking, trapunto and looked at ways to make it accessible to all. This is how 'the Heirloom Quilt was made. It includes over 35 sewing techniques all aimed to teach people how to use their sewing machine. The quilt is such a useful learning tool that it is now a book 'How to Make an Heirloom Quilt' published by David and Charles. The book also includes other projects that feature the many different techniques. With the success of the book and by popular demand, Pauline has now produced 6 DVD's instructing you on how to make the Heirloom Quilt.

Pauline continued to look at new ways to create beautiful effects with her sewing machine and created 'The Applique Quilt'. This has equaled the success of her Heirloom Quilt to give people new ideas and inspiration on their own machines. The delicate applique flowers now feature in the book 'Floral DImensions', also published by David and Charles, and the complete insructions for making the quilt are in the book, 'The Floral Dimensions Quilt'.

Pauline continues to develop ideas for making beautiful projects. Take a look at the different opportunities to learn new techniques.
